Well, you want them to think for themselves, don’t you? Well, don’t you? Not really. You want them to take your valuable advice and not drive you crazy.
I have wonderful children. They made it out of those years alive and well and I love them dearly. But, really, those were difficult times!
All of these artworks are photo collages (above: Teenager, below: Weekend Waitup). The Plexiglas (Will It Fly) one was more complex and originally had some red streamers, as though it was a kite I wanted to launch into orbit. (It is much too heavy for that!)
In spite of my complaints about teenagers, I want you to note that they consented to “pose” for Mom when she was making these.
